Approximately 1–3 percent of the global population has a cognitive disability—as many as 200 million people. And only 10-15% of these people get access to the right assistive technology at the right price! As a responsible corporate citizen, Fidelity AssisT-athon has emerged with an aim of empowering people (esp. those with cognitive conditions) with solutions to independently handle daily financial activities. Fidelity’s AssisT-athon will pave the way towards building a comprehensive forum for enterprises and start-ups to come together and explore new opportunities for accessibility and assistive technology.
